Mistress of Copper Mountain (Хозяйка Медной Горы). The mistress is the legendary magical ruler of the Ural mountains who figures in several stories from the collection of interlocking tales by Pavel Bazhov (1879-1950). She is a spirit-keeper of valuable minerals. The statuette, sculpted by P.M. Kozhin, is presented as a beautiful green-eyed woman who stands before the malachite box and holds valuable gems in her hand and is graced by two magical lizards, one gold and the other, green. Green "falcon" factory backstamp of the 1980s. 12¾"x 4¼", 2½ pounds.

Dulevo (sometimes Dulyovo) Porcelain Works (Дулевскй фарфоровый завод) is one of the most famous Russian (and former Soviet) porcelain manufacturers. The works were founded in the Dulevo wasteland (now Likino-Dulevo) in 1832 by famed Russian merchant Terenti Kuznetsov (Теренти Кузнецов).
