Viatka "Uzor" Northern Maidens. "Uzor" is a Russian word that translates to "patterned weaving"
and the hand-painted flowers on this traditional doll include the colors red, green and yellow.
Viatka "Northern" Maidens come from the city of Viatka, formerly Kirov, in the Kirov "oblast" (province). These were made in the
Kirov Factory in the mid-1980s. They will have either a "USSR" sticker or "USSR" purple stamp on the bottoms of the first doll.
