Viatka "Uzor" Northern Maidens. "Uzor" (Узор) is a Russian word that means "patterned weaving" and the hand painted flowers on this traditional doll have pattern colors of red, green and yellow. Viatka "Northern" Maidens come from the city of Viatka, formerly Kirov. Made in the Kirov Factory in the mid-1980s. They will have either a "USSR" paper label or "USSR" purple stamp on the bottoms of the first doll. 5 nest, 4" to 1½".
