Cobalt Net Large 9-cup Teapot.  In Russia, tea is usually served with the help of two teapots, one large and one small. This, the larger teapot, would hold hot water, while a smaller, 3-cup teapot would hold a strong brew. The two would be mixed together to make a brew to taste. As Russians like to drink tea much of the day, a weaker brew is preferred. This fine porcelain large teapot is decorated in the classic Cobalt Net pattern and is the genuine article! This one is from our old inventory and has the "Made in USSR" red backstamp, indicating production was in the late 1980s. Fully hand painted and decorated at the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg, Russia. Not a Chinese knock-off! Mineral cobalt, 22Kt gold. 7½" in height, 10" wide and 6" deep.

Please note: delivery for this item is 5-7 days. Subject to availability.
