Egg Dish with Hen Salt (Тарелка для яиц и солонка, выполненная в форме курочки). Fine handmade Gzhel egg serving dish is decorated with hand painted blue flourishes throughout. Authentic Gzhel in excellent condition. Backstamp on the hen is in English: "Hand made in Russia" and Gzhel backstamp in English. Plate is "married " to the hen and is from an earlier period. It is stamped "Handpainted in USSR" (sic) with the triangular Gzhel backstamp in English. 6½" in diameter and hen is 3" in height. Excellent condition. 1 only, as shown.
