Frog Princess (Царевна Лягушка). Nina Vladimirovna Chaparina (Remiznikova) (Нина Владимировна Чапарина (Ремизникова)). Nina Vladimirovna was born in 1957 in the village of Palekh, Ivanovo region. She studied at the Palekh Art College from 1975-1980 and worked in the Palekh Art and Production Workshops for decade before its liquidation in 1991. She continued to work as an artist in the cooperative Association of Palekh Artists. Today she is active in the advancement of Palekh art post-1991. She participates in cultural exhibitions, both domestic and international. Just this year (2022), she actively participated in creating a cultural and educational center in Palekh by the production cooperative Association of Palekh Artist in the former residence of the icon painter Mikhail Vasilievich Dydykin (1873-1967).
Prince Ivan finds that his arrow has landed in a marsh and is in the grip of a tiny green frog. The fairy tale ends well for Prince Ivan, to whom it is revealed that this frog will transform into his future bride, Vasilisa the Wise (Василиса Премудрая).
