The Minsk Porcelain and Faience factory began operation in 1883. It prospered through the years but suffered significant damage during WWII. In 1951, the factory was renamed Minsk Porcelain and Faience Factory and began porcelain-faience production. 10 years later, the factory began to produce household utensils as well as decorative items. It also had its own experimental and artistic department. Unfortunately, in 2009 the plant closed its doors.
