Product Description
Nice older working electic samovar from Tula, 1986. Detailed painting enhances the decorative value, and samovar is fully functioning and heats up water. Painting is by the "Lipetsk" group of artists. Comes with an electric cord, ready to use.
It has been tested and works. However, it does get very HOT! (Would not pass OSHA muster, that's for sure!). If you decide to use it, please wear oven mittens when opening the top (or better: let it cool down before opening the top) and monitor it closely. Don't let it stay plugged in too long. And be sure the water covers the coil completely whenever it is plugged in. It takes about 50 minutes to heat cold water. Alternately, you can put hot water in it then heat it further. Gently used condition. About 13½" tall by 10" wide by 10¾" deep.
