Rosebud Easter Egg. A dazzling re-creation of the original that was made in 1895 by Mikhail Perkhin for the House of Faberge. It was commissioned by Tsar Nicholas II, who presented it at Easter to his wife, Tsarevna Alexandra. Set on a gold-plated stand, it is decorated with fine Austrian crystals. It opens to reveal a brilliant yellow rosebud that encloses a red pendant with a dome-shaped crystal. Comes with an 18" chain. Gift boxed. Approximately 2½" tall.
