The New York family printing house "Rausen Brothers" ("RausenBros."), printed books for the famous emigrant publishing house, Chekhov. The brothers were Russian emigres, namely Israel Grigorievich Rauzen (1892-1977), a Knight of St. George and a participant in WWI, and Lazar Grigorievich (1884-1960). According to personal recollections, the Rausens would take orders on credit, and were well-liked members of the Russian diaspora in America.
