Vibrant vintage 24 kt gold encrusted porcelain tea service set finished both outside and inside in the Regency Moderne style. Joseph R. Kittler worked for both the Stouffer and Donath studios, before establishing his own studio in 1922. Stylistically reminiscent of Pickard.
Open scalloped and ruffled sugar bowl is 5¾" in length, creamer is 4½" in length and both are nearly 3" in height. The marks on the underside are "J.R. KITTLER'S Gold Encrusted China and "EQUAL TO ANY ~ BETTER THAN MANY". No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. As if made yesterday. In fine condition.1 set only.
