The Mother of God Jerusalem

Tradition states that the Jerusalem Icon of the Mother of God was painted by the holy Evangelist Luke fifteen years after the Ascension of the Lord at Gethsemane. The Jerusalem Icon is commemorated on November 13 (NS), and on the Fifth Saturday of Great Lent. This icon is entirely hand painted, "written" in Russia, by a master iconographer in Rostov-on-the-Don. 5¾" x 7¾" Comes with a certificate of authenticity. 1 only.
