The bee symbolizes the sun and the butterfly symbolizes the soul and resurrection. Flowers include yellow and green daisies, white roses and lilies, and elegant green leaves. This egg is based loosely on the "Paskha" Easter egg created by Mikhail Perchin in 1902, who worked as master jeweler in the Faberge firm in St. Petersburg.
