Nearly ten years ago, Barbara Shukin started selling her wares at vintage and antique markets, such as the Elkhorn Antique Fleamarket, Third Sunday in Bloomington, various Zurko events (the Wheaton All-Nighter, in particular), and the Shipshewana Fleamarket in Indiana. Several years ago she set up a permanent building in Shipshewana, open 7am. to 3pm. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from May 1 to September 31. Maison Russe is her second permanent location. She still travels to Elkhorn with trailer in tow and you might find her at other weekend events. Online, her eBay handle is "retrodomestic." Look for her on Instagram and Facebook.
