Country Church Ensemble. Unusual long hinged footed box decorated with an idyllic countryside landscape with wooden churches, bell tower and houses. The scene is more than likely in the Arkhangelsk Region in the Russian North, perhaps the Pochozersky church complex or from the Lyadny. 12¾" x 3" x 2½". The box is in fine condition.
