Product Description
Dapple Gray Foal Lomonosov Porcelain. Also known as Pastured Colt. A vintage horse sculpture that was designed by Boris Yakovlevich Vorobiev (1911-1990), who was associated with the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (LFZ) beginning in 1936 and ending in about 1980 due to illness. Hand painted hard paste porcelain in about new condition (small mark on the underside is a "release" mark incurred in the factory). 9⅝" x 3⅛" x 7½". 1 only. (The pictures of the shades of gray on a milky white silky porcelain don't do the piece justice).
Note: small adhesive pads applied to the feet, covering up the factory backstamp. May be Russia, or may be USSR (looks more like the latter, but in any case, red LFZ mark is poking through. Brand new condition, consigned to us by a friend.
