Made in the village of Kazakovo, 230 miles east of Moscow in the Vachsky district of Nizhny Novgorod, Volga region. Kazakovo is a center for filigree art, which was brought there in the 1930s from the village of Krasnoe-on-Volga. Craftspeople have been creating this amazing filigree metalwork, using only scissors and pincers, for almost 80 years.
