Portrait of Emperor Nicholas II (Портрет императора Николая II). Valentin Alexandrovich Serov (1865-1911) painted Nicholas II in 1900 in the Impressionistic style in vogue in the day.  

Elegant genuine painting in a wood frame, approximately 6" x 7½". 1 only.

Genuine painting copy by Igor V. Shepel, who was born in 1961 in the city of Rostov-on-the-Don. From 1978-1984 he studied at the Rostov College of Arts (named after M. Grekov (1882-1934). Shepel is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and participates in many regional and personal exhibitions. He works and teaches at the Grekov Art School. He specializes in museum quality oil paintings of Russian masterpiece replicas as well as of Western masters. He is fond of painting landscapes and Orthodox icons. Many of his works are in museums, galleries and private collections in the US, as well as Russia, Germany, Brazil, and Canada.
