Rooster Teapots, Set of 3 [Gorodnitsky]

Set of 3 Matching Rooster Porcelain Teapots. Sometimes referred to as the Golden Rooster set, due to the gold enhancements. All pieces are hand painted on white porcelain. Cute extended grip-style lids. Though these are somewhat common, as a full set of three they are less so. Made during the 1970s at the Gorodnitsa Porcelain Factory, Horodnitsa, Ukraine. 1 set only.

Large is 8½" x 10½". Middle is 4⅞" z 5¾" and small is 3" x 3⅝". All pieces in excellent condition. These were made strictly for export as indicated by the "Made in USSR" mark, identical on all three pieces, together with the item #794-Y. 

The Gorodnitsa (Gorodnitsky) Porcelain Factory was one of the more well-known factories in Ukraine. It was founded in 1799 and was related to the factory in Korets.
