For your treasures and jewels! This is a lovely "lilac stone" box, made of semi-precious charoite, a mineral found near the Chara River, on the border of the Irkutsk region and Yakutia, in Russia. The gemstone is characterised by a silky luster and a delicate range of violet colors from pale to dark. Atop is a sterling silver Double Headed Eagle of Imperial Russia, the Romanov family crest. 5x2½x1½ inches. One only.
