Свети Тривелий Теоктист. St. Trivelis (Khan of Tervel of Bulgaria) was a devout Christian who received the Holy Faith around 700 A.D. A warrior akin the St. Alexander of Nevsky (who came later in Russia), St. Trivelis reigned in the early First Bulgarian Empire. He was a warrior and secured territory from the Byzantine Empire and aided in the defense of the enemies of Bulgaria. One of his accomplishments was to have built a monastery.
