  • Santa with Snowmaiden and Snowman. Early nested egg with a turquoise Santa with bushy eyebrows, a staff and a red gift bag on which is written: "Подарок" (Gift). Interesting color choice for the Snowmaiden (peach) with long blonde braids and a nicely rendered snowman. An early entry into the collector field of unusual nesting dolls. The 358/1500 was a short-lived trend to put a "limited edition" imprimatur on the set. Probably Moscow. Dated 1992 and signed by the "artist" - more likely signed by the importer. 3⅛" to 1½".
