Product Description
"Swank" Member of the Bar Decanter [Vintage]. This is a mid-century hand painted ceramic decanter, which implies: "Fill me up with vodka!" Bring out the stereotypes, while you're at it! This beauty was made in the 1950's and '60's by Swank, a company that specialized in men's accessories. The full-bearded entertainer is wearing light blue pants, a blindingly yellow shirt tied with a red rope belt, traditional black boots, a brown balalaika with "VOKDA" prominently displayed on it. Cue up the Gypsy tunes! Make him the highlight of the vodka shelf, if there is one! Detailed painting, rosy cheeks and Russian eyes. 11½" in height. Some wear but nothing major. A chip barely visible on the left boot has been color-touched by a previous owner. Sports a red and black label with gold lettering on the bottom: "MEMBER OF THE BAR by SWANK and JAPAN in a slightly smaller font. Overall a nice vintage piece. 1 only.
