Greater Habit of a Schema Monk. Roman Fyodorovich Bykovsky purchased  photographic equipment using his share of the parental inheritance and lived in the house of his son-in-law Kornyukhin on the Netechinskaya № 50. In 1889 he received permission to conduct a photographic studio. Relations with his son-in-law soon went bad, however, apparently due to the large number of clients. Moreover, Bykovsky decided to pursue photolithography as well, for which he used the basement, further exacerbating relations. In 1891. R.F. Bykovsky asked for permission to purchase two lithographic stones for the production of works in photolithography. Thereafter, he placed them in the house of his brother Thomas on Voskresenskaya No. 11. After nearly 20 years in business, in 1907, the photographic institution of R.F. Bykovsky ceased to exist.
