Sterling Silver Orthodox Soldier's Cross. The raised design of this cross incorporates the Arma Christi, or Instruments of the Passion. These are the staff with the sponge and the spear. The cross arises from the Mount of Golgotha, also known as Calvary, which was the site immediately outside Jerusalem's walls where Jesus was crucified. On the reverse of the cross is a quote in Church Slavonic from Psalm 68 which begins "Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered."
