Tall Angel with Candle Carving (Ангел со свечой). A finely carved and fully painted angel holds a lighted candle. Angels are symbols of innocence, purity, devotion, hope, faith, and love. The candle she holds is a symbol of the light of life. Candles are lit in church as a prayer for peace or as a request for healing.
Made in Sergiev Posad, Russia about 10 years ago. 9" in height. 1 only. Note: candle and wings are pegged (removable).
