Young Maid of Honor (Фрейлина). A pretty young woman gazes at the viewer. The fraulein is a maid of honor or a junior attendant to the court. She wears a blue dress with a matching ruffle collar and a striking single blue flower in her hair. Bright silver border decoration.

Materials used are oil paints, papier-mache, metallic powders and lacquer. Marked "Федоскино" (Fedoskino) with a visible, but illegible, signature of the artist. Attached with classic safety pin embedded into the back. 1¾" diameter. 1 only.

Note: White, cloudy or dark areas in the photo are "hot spots" caused by studio lights reflected from off the shiny lacquer. The pin is fine.
