    Here you can find trays, teaglass holders, and, of course, samovars. 

    • Large and heavy pre-revolutionary brass samovar.  1890-1910. Tula, Russia. In about fine condition, no major dents or missing parts. The golden brass is warm quality and has been cleaned often by the former owner. About 19¾" in height and weighs slightly over 13½ lbs. The inside chamber has calcium and mineral deposits indicative of prior use. The burn chamber plate, essentially a grill, is intact and clips on. All parts, including key, grips, cap, etc., appear to be original.e factory award medals and identification has been polished nearly out of existence, but a closer look reveals the word "Ivan" and "Batashev". The era is 1890-1910. Ivan Grigoryevich Batashev is one of the most famous and well-known samovar makers in Tula

Theories abound for this one. 1) it might have been carried around for a quick boil of water to prepare one or two cups of tea, 2) it's part of a child's tea set, and 3) it was a salesman's sample.

    • Antique Painted Tray "Bouquet on red background". Zhostovo Work Artel, circa 1930. Painted flowers on a tin tray. The history of Zhostovo arts and crafts (Жостовская роспись) dates back to the early 19th century. Its roots align with painted lacquered objects on papier-mache and Ural Tagil flower painting, which appeared earlier in the 18th century. In 1922 «Novosel'tsevo work artel» was founded in Novosel'tsevo in the Podmoskovye region, which made lacquered metal trays. In 1924 "Zhostovo work artel" and "Spetskustar" were also founded there and in 1925 two more, "Lakirovshik" and "Svoy trud". In 1925, all of them were combined into one artel "Metallopodnos". Today, it is named The Zhostovo Factory of Decorative Painting (Жостовская фабрика декоративной росписи).  Marked "Made in the Soviet Union" in white lettering at the bottom of the back of the tray.
