Polkh/Krutets 2pc Matryoshka. Two-nested sets fall into the category of "uncommon". They were uncommon when they were made and now they are especially uncommon. These dolls were made following the "kustar" (cottage industry) nature of production, as each doll was made using the resources at hand. The dolls are sharply detailed with black curly hair. It hails from the mid-1980's. 2 nest, 5" x 2¾". 1 only, as shown.
