Polkhovsky-Maidan (Полховский-Майдан). A vintage matryoshka from Polkhovsky Maiden (the central village in the Voznesensk district). The decoration is more elaborate and fancy with a broader color palette and more decorative elements, especially the apron resembling lace on the bottom and the collar. The first doll also has a long braid on the back tied with a blue bow. This set is from the early to mid-1980s and has the remnants of a paper label on the bottom of the first doll. 3 nest, 5" tall. 1 only.
