Troika (Тройка). Pre-revolutionary Russia era production - possibly unmarked Vishnyakov or Lukutin. Mid to late 19th century. Boxes such as this one are prized in Russia, as they establish a connection with the Tsarist era, and can sell for "good money".
Oil, lacquer, hinged papier-mache box. Box in very good condition, image in fair condition with pebbling and crazing due to age and the type of lacquer used back then. 3¾" x 2½" x 2⅝". 1 only.
