A pretty maiden is whisked away by her handsome suitor. This lovely scene, by an unknown artist, originated as a miniature painting on a Russian lacquer box, circa mid-20th century. It has since been reproduced in various forms, including this wonderful painting, skillfully executed in Russia by L.G. Saprikina.
