Product Description
Cobalt Net Handleless Cup. What can this unusual serving piece be used for? Originally it was marketed as a teacup without a handle or a small sugar bowl (you supply the spoon) but it can be used to serve sour cream, yogurt, pudding, creme brûlée, olives, dipping sauce... well, I guess you get it.
An unusual serving piece from the Lomonosov Cobalt Net line. Cobalt Net is the trademark pattern produced by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory. The pattern first appeared in 1949. It is a combination of hand painted intersecting lines, or netting, of cobalt blue with inverted tear drops of cobalt blue and 22 karat gold accents. Cup is 2½" high and 2¾" diameter. Red ЛВЗ (LFZ) backstamp and "Made in Russia" in English. We don't have a lot of these left.
