Vasily Ivanovich Krivorotov (1901-1984) was an author, historian, and journalist. During the Russian Civil War (Grazhdanskaya Voyna v Rossiy, 1917-1922) twenty-one of his relatives, including his father, were killed. After the defeat of the White Army, Krivorotov emigrated to Yugoslavia. After WWII, he moved to Brazil, where he formed a large Russian colony, worked as a civil engineer and studied literature. His works were published in the Russian press abroad. Krivorotov rejected Russia under the Bolsheviks, but never lost his love and concern for Russia and her fate. According to him, his whole life was dedicated to "consistently work on our Russian catastrophe." Scarce: only 500 copies were printed. Three part book set published in Madrid in 1969.
