Hanuman. Hanuman is the Hindu Monkey deity, and here has been recreated by a Russian carver and painter. Hanuman is revered as an exemplar of self-control, faith, and commitment to a cause. We could add some biographical/historical information about this Christmas King, but suffice it to say that the Google machine has more than enough details to peruse. That being said, this wildly unusual Christmas King was made in Sergiev Posad, Russia sometime in the early 2000s. He is depicted with a prayer wheel and a traditional staff. 8½" in height. 1 only.
