Vintage Polkhov Maidan/Krutets Matryoshka

Polkhovsky-Maidan or Krutets (Полховский-Майдан или Крутец). A vintage matryoshka with classical folk art stylings. The decoration is simple with primary colors. Note the small eyes and the part of the hair, which is two curls peeking out from a cascading veil. Possibly from the 1950's - more probably from the 1960's. A set like this, pure Polkh folk art, is very uncommon. 3 nest, 6¾" in height. 1 only.
