Easter Egg (Пасхальное яйцо).  A beautiful example of the ultimate in fine filigree work, as perfected back in the days of Catherine the Great. Every curve is formed by hand from copper wire, then the piece is plated with 99% pure silver. Fine seed pearls are sprinkled throughout. It opens to reveal a tiny rosette, and another rosette sits atop the egg.

This exact same egg was sold by Nieman Marcus 20 years ago for $150 (!). We acquired the last remaining inventory of this museum-quality egg box and are offering it at a substantially reduced price. Entirely hand-made in Kazakova, near Nihzny Novgorod. 4" in height.
