Small Barrel (Бочонок). This hand carved small barrel with lid is a traditional container for storing dry food, such as sugar, tea or dried herbs. Can also be used for liquids, such as honey, jam, etc. The background pattern is kudrina and grass (фон: кудрина, травка) style of decoration. Fully hand made in the 1980s at the Семинская фабрика "Хохломский художник" (Seminsk Fabrika "Khokhlomskiy khudozhnik"). Partial paper label on the bottom. About fine condition. 3¼" in height, 4¼" diameter. 1 only.
