Svetlana Alexandrovna Paramonova (Светлана Александровна Парамонова) was born in 1958 in the village of Svergino, which is located in the Palekhsky district of the Ivanovo region and included in the Palekh urban settlement. In the village are approximately 28 houses and the river Yurlovka flows nearby (it may have grown since this was written). From 1974-1979, Svetlana Alexandrovna studied at the Palekh Art College. Some of her teachers include Alexander Vailievich Gordeev (1927-1990) and Yuri Victorovich Zhegalov (1927-1992). For the next ten years, she worked in the Palekh art and production workshops, and subsequently was attached to the "Association of Palekh Artists" cooperative, where today she is one of its heads.
Note: White, cloudy areas in the photos are "hot spots" caused by studio lights reflected from off the shiny lacquer. The box is fine.
