The Vozrozhdenie plant in Bronnitsa in the Novgorod region (Бронницкий фарфоровый завод) grew out of a small artel in 1942, when a regional industrial complex was created in a one-story building. Production grew and peaked in 1966, when Vozrozhdenie was founded by merging one of the workshops of "Proletary" (it's predecessor) with a small local factory "Stroyfayans". The most popular product was the cobalt line of dishes and small artistic figures developed by professional sculptors and painters, including Tamara Gavrilova and Vladimir Smolyar, who played leading roles, and other artists: Olga Churakova, Marina Andreeva, Ivan Berdnikov, Tamara Erokhina-Evladova, and Alexaner Kruglov. The enterprise was finally closed in 2004, and Proletary, the major industrial facility, which employed over 1000 people, also closed several years later. In 2016, with only the museum remaining, a workshop for the production of souvenirs opened at the House of Culture of the Proletary settlement with former employees of the Bronnitskiy plant carefully maintaining the traditions of Novgorod porcelain.
One of the most famous artists of the Vozrozhdenie plant was Tamara Alexandrovna Gavrilova (1924-1998). The museum keeps a very large collection of the artist - these are various sets and sets, decorative dishes, sculptural compositions. After the artist's death, the heirs donated to the museum a collection of author's works.
