А. С. Пушкин Читает Вера Марецкая – Сказка О Мёртвой Царевне И О Семи Богатырях. Vera Maretskaya Reads A. S. Pushkin- The Tale of the Dead Princess and the Seven Knights. The Tale of the Dead Tsarevna and of the Seven Bogatyrs (Сказка о мёртвой царевне и о семи богатырях), is a fairy tale in verse poem written by Aleksandr Pushkin in 1833. It tells of Prince Yelsei's search for his love, the Tsarevna, who has been cast out by her stepmother. It is analogous in some ways to The Little Snow White tale from Grimm's Fairy Tales but it was inspired by the childhood tales told by his nurse Arina Rodionovna at the Mikhaylovskoye village.
Recording was directed by Валерий Михайловский (1937-) a Soviet film director and screenwriter. The musical ensemble is not credited. Вера Марецкая (Vera Maretskaya 1906-1978) was a well-known Russian/Soviet stage and screen actress.

Record is near mint and looks brand new. The back of the jacket has wear and is rubbed. Front has ring wear. A note about the recording: this pressing is sourced from an original which appears to have a bit of surface noise, which was not eliminated. That being said, it plays well.
